In this study, the IoT and its main applications are described, and three educational scenarios for the “smart school” are analyzed to familiarize Secondary Education students with it. For the implementation of the scenarios, the (economic and open software) Arduino microcomputer platform and the appropriate sensors for each application were used. Note that the three scenarios are of increasing complexity.
